Print-ready checklist for pin badges
Use this checklist before you send files to a print shop or run them on a home badge machine.
Design checks
- Correct size selected (25 / 32 / 58 mm)
- Important text and faces inside the safe area
- High enough image resolution for the size
- Text contrast is strong on the background
- On-screen guides (cut line, grid) are only for design — they should not appear in the final export
Export checks
- PDF for print; PNG for previews or digital
- Use High or Ultra quality when possible
- For multiple different designs, use the Print Sheet queue
- For many copies of one design, use Fill A4 Sheet or Custom Quantity
Print & finish
- Print at 100% scale (no “fit to page”)
- Use appropriate paper for your badge machine
- Align cut to the cut circle, not the artwork edge alone
- Test one badge before a full batch
